2007 Water Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy
Lifesaving Resources will conduct its 2nd annual Water Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy, July 26 - 29, at the Blair Academy in Blairstown, New Jersey.
The purpose of this Academy is to train train representatives of Public Safety and Rescue agencies as Water Rescue Instructors. Upon successful completion of this comprehensive and intensive training program, graduates are authorized to conduct Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician level courses on behalf of their Fire, Rescue, EMS, or Law Enforcement Agency/Department.
The Lifesaving Resources' Water Rescue courses meet NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue and Lifesaving Resources encourages all Public Safety and Rescue agencies to PLAN for water rescue incidents, TRAIN for water rescue incidents, and acquire the RESOURCES necessary to effectively and safely respond to water rescue incidents within their communities.
The training program begins Thursday evening, July 26 and continues through 4 PM on Sunday afternoon.
