The following news investigation appeared on Fox 9 News (Minneapolis) last evening.

This is the exact same beach where my son drowned when the lifeguards thought he we messing around, that was 6 years ago. I have attempted to get them to do advanced lifeguard training, but it has never happened and they are still not doing their job, worse yet, the director who hires them is defending them even though a parent got it on videotape.

Speak out, and continue to speak out to change lifeguard training regulations.

I have been in communication with Tom Lyden, the investigator in the story and he tells me they may be doing a follow-up this evening.
